"Six Rules to Make People Like You"

Rule 1: Become genuinely interested in other people

If you want people to like you, be kind and care about other people. Sometimes people think only about themselves and do not think about other people, I think when we give the other person the attention they deserve, it allows us to become more interested in them. The more interested and attention you give to someone else the more willing they are to listen to you talk about yourself.
Be supportive, if you notice that there's someone in need and you can help, do it and after that you're going to feel really good because you did a good action, not just think about yourself. Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.
I am sure that if people would help each other this world would be great! Do this and you will be welcome anywhere.

Rule 2: Smile

Smile all the time, and show people that you are glad you have them in your life.
When a person smiles, that person can show their feelings because smiling is a universal sign that someone is either happy or sad.
Smile in front of your family, friends and show then you are happy to be with them, that's the better way you can show them you are glad to see them, because a smile is the prettiest thing you can wear, I am pretty sure that if you smile, you will make people like you.
It is really easy the only thing you have to do is smile and express yourself through it.

Rule 3: Remember names

Remember people's names is the best thing a person can do, because when a person remember your name automatically that person will like you because he/she takes the time to memorize your name. When you meet someone, the first thing you do is to say your name and it is really great when you see that person again and that same person remembers your name, in that moment you feel like something important in his/her life.
We all have to apply this rule in our daily life, but not only when we meet someone, and just the fact to remember your friends' names means that they are important in your life.
Do not forget people's names and I am sure a lot of people will like you!

Rule 4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.

This rule means that we all have to be a good listener, and pay attention when another person is talking. Every good conversation starts with good listening, be respectful and put all of your attention to him/ her because it makes the person who's speaking feel loved, cared for and worthy for being heard.
Encourage others to talk about themselves, do not be always the only one who is talking about himself/ herself, on the contrary encourage others to talk about their skills or something they want to share, your ears will never get you in trouble and It is a really good experience when everyone is speaking and sharing things, not only one person.
For example if you are at school, share with others your thoughts in lunch but also let them speak don't be rude and be willing just to listen, I am pretty sure applying this rule people will like you.

Rule 5: Talk in terms of the other man's interest
You might get lucky if you find someone who shares some of the passions you do, and life is pretty good when you find someone who has something in common with you. When that happens a person gets happy automatically. Talking in terms of the other man's interest is not hard, on the contrary this could be fun if you want, because it only takes willingness and patience to be a good listener and find out what the passions of the other person are.
For example if your passion is to play football, you can find someone who also likes this sport, another example is, if you find someone who loves something and you don't, talk about that, it could be interesting you could learn and in the future you might like that as well.
If you apply this rule, this can end up being fun because you get to know another person and might learn something new.

Rule 6: Make other person feel important and do it sincerely.
In order to make people feel important you have to accept people the way they are.
Most people tend to be judgmental or critical, but we all have to accept each other, because we all are different. For example if you are at school, there's a lot of different students, maybe your friend has different passions than you but it does not matter, accept your friend the way she/he is.
Show your appreciation for other. When you appreciate another person for anything she/he has done or said, you will make him/her like you more.
The simplest way to show appreciation is to simply say "Thank You" for some idea, feedback or just for spend time together. Always remember to show people how much you love you, for example your family or friends because that's the best way to show them appreciation.

Final Reflection
These "Six rules to make people like you" are essential in our everyday.
We can learned a lot with them but above all we can realize things in our life as well as practice them. Each rule show us respect and kindness, so that means that if we practice these rules good things will happen to us.
All of these rules are related, and I am pretty sure if we apply them, we will make people feel important, cared and welcomed. We can apply them at school, home, with friends and also with new people that might meet. It is not difficult, when you meet someone ask for her/his name and never forget it, pay attention to the things he/she is talking about, smile to show you are glad to meet them, encourage them, and the most important thing, make them feel important.
If you apply them you will always make people like you, and It does not matter what other people can say to you, just apply them, try and you will get great things in your life!
